Fascial Stretch Therapy with Frances Young

It should come as no surprise that I'm a big fan of a variety of body work. I like to think of my massage therapist, chiropractor and acupuncturist as a team that helps me to avoid injury, recover from injuries and address some of the imbalances that are a result of being a 44 year old. I've recently added a new person to this team of body workers and I want to share her work with you!

A couple weeks ago, Frances reached out to tell me about her work as a Level 2 Fascial Stretch Therapist and offered me a trial session. FST has been growing in popularity over the years, so I was naturally curious. After my 30 minute trial, I was convinced that not only did FST need to be part of my body work but that it should be added to the services we offer at KSA Fitness. I could try to fumble through an explanation of FST and how wonderful my hips and low back felt after just 30 minutes of Frances' work...but I think its best for the expert to speak for herself!

Introducing Fascial Stretch Therapy with Frances Young:

Helping individuals fear themselves less through physical and mindfulness training as well as stretch therapy is the backbone of The Fearless Project and what Frances Young stands for as a health professional. In her 10th year in the field of health, Frances incorporates her life long love of the body and movement into her body work and stretch therapy techniques. Adding Fascial Stretch Therapy through Stretch to Win in 2019 to her services as a personal trainer and professional contemporary dancer, Frances began to transform, heal and ease the constant nagging aches, pains and stiffness throughout a client’s body. In combination with using a Theragun, PNF contract and relax methodology and her intuition, Frances’ stretch therapy will leave you feeling rejuvenated and that there can be life lived without pain. Manual body work and treatment does not have to be painful in order to be effective. Stretching the entire body from the inside out is something only a skilled practitioner can do and wouldn’t you want to be stretched rather than trying to reach for your toes all on your own?

Book your free 30 minute consultation with Frances today and you’ll walk a little taller and most certainly have a spring in your step.

That's right, Frances is offering everyone at KSA a free 30 minute trial session and will continue to offer 60 min FST sessions at the studio! These sessions will be offered during some of our traditionally quiet times at the studio:

Wednesdays: 1:30pm - 4:00pm

Thursdays: 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Fridays:  2:00pm  - 4:00pm

The links below will take you to Frances' booking page, which is separate from the KSA website.
